BALTIMORE (AP) — The last time Tampa Bay faced Baltimore Cheap Customized Baltimore Ravens Jerseys ,get the Ravens rolling in a 48-17 rout.Flacco will be watching from the sideline Sunday in the rematch of that 2014 blowout. The 2012 Super Bowl MVP lost his starting job this week to rookie Lamar Jackson, who presents an entirely different set of problems for a porous Tampa Bay defense that is allowing nearly 400 yards per game. With Jackson operating an effective run-pass option, Baltimore (7-6) has racked up 914 yards rushing over the past four games, including 336 by its slashing, nimble quarterback. "He is fun to watch, that's for sure, and they've been tearing it up with their run game," Buccaneers coach Dick Koetter said. "Their run game makes you play assignment football, and you can't argue with the results, 3-1. They've been playing good football with him in there."Jackson took over as the starter after Flacco hurt his right hip on Nov. 4. Flacco is healthy now, but with the Ravens flourishing under Jackson, coach John Harbaugh decided to maintain the status quo as Baltimore seeks to end a three-year playoff drought."My brain and my heart and my experience says this is the way to go www.ravensfootballauthentics.com ," Harbaugh said. The Bucs (5-8) have also shuffled quarterbacks this season, with mixed results. Though Tampa Bay leads the NFL with 331.4 yards passing per game and ranks second in total offense, Jameis Winston and Ryan Fitzpatrick each have thrown 12 interceptions.Fitzpatrick began the season as the starter, filling in while Winston served a three-game suspension for violating the NFL's personal conduct policy. Since leading the Bucs to upsets of the Saints and Eagles in the first two weeks, the 36-year-old journeyman has been benched twice over the course of losing five consecutive starts.Winston, meanwhile, is 3-3 as a starter this season, 2-1 since regaining his job three weeks ago. He was benched after throwing 10 interceptions during a four-game stretch, but has done a much better job of protecting the ball lately.Winston, the No. 1 overall pick from the 2015 draft, has one turnover in the past three games, —a meaningless interception with 1 second remaining in last week's 28-14 loss to the Saints. Some other things to know about Bucs vs. Ravens:IMPROVED DEFENSEDefensively Baltimore Ravens T-Shirt , the Bucs rank near the bottom of the NFL in yards (387.9) and points (29.5) allowed per game. They have, however, improved significantly in a number of areas since firing defensive coordinator Mike Smith and promoting linebackers coach Mark Duffner as his replacement.Over the last two months, Tampa Bay is allowing five fewer points per game and has 25 sacks, tied for second in the NFL with Kansas City over that stretch. After going seven consecutive games without forcing a turnover on defense, the Bucs had eight takeaways the past three weeks, including seven interceptions. The team had one in the first 10 games. This is a homecoming of sorts for Duffner, who was head coach at the University of Maryland from 1992-96.JUGGERNAUT AND HULKBaltimore's front line is anchored by Michael Pierce and Brandon Williams, who alternate at nose tackle with the purpose of clogging the middle for the league's fourth-ranked rushing defense. The 340-pound Pierce is nicknamed "Juggernaut," a comic book character who crushes everything in his path. Pierce has that nickname tattooed inside his right calf. Williams, who weighs in at 336, is known by his teammates as "The Hulk."Sunday Baltimore Ravens Hats , Pierce and Williams will bang helmets with former teammate Ryan Jensen, who left as a free agent after last season."I'm sure he'll be hyped up to be back here," Pierce said.SHIFTING GEARSIf Flacco gets into the game, the Tampa Bay defense must adjust accordingly."They were like 60-40 pass under Flacco. They're more like 60-40 run now under Jackson. You've got to prepare for both," Koetter said. "Our plan will be based primarily on their personnel and then their tendencies out of those personnel."Defending against Jackson, however, presents the biggest challenge."You didn't just reach down in your desk drawer and pull out the same game plan that you used last week," Koetter said. "You have to work at it."CLEATS FOR A CAUSERavens tight end Maxx Williams will be wearing personalized cleats to promote diabetes awareness and the Diabetes Research Institute Foundation. The multi-colored cleats feature the type 1 diabetes (T1D) ribbon and the name of his brother-in-law, Sean Lejonvarn, who lives with T1D. Bad memories came flooding back to Saints coach Sean Payton after a fifth straight regular season opener ended in defeat. It wasn't just that the Saints lost, but how it happened. An anemic pass rush and blown coverages helped an opposing quarterback look as spectacular as any point in his career as the Saints fell behind big. Prolific Saints QB Drew Brees orchestrated a frenetic rally to make it interesting, but ran out of time in a 48-40 loss."That's the type of game we've played in years past as a .500 team Baltimore Ravens Womens Hoodie ," Payton said, alluding to three straight 7-9 seasons from 2014-16 before the Saints returned to the playoffs with 11 wins in 2017. "We had way too many mistakes."Ryan Fitzpatrick, a 35-year-old journeyman in his 14th season 鈥?and who was signed in 2017 as a backup to 2015 first overall draft pick Jameis Winston 鈥?finished with a career-best 417 yards. It was only the second time he'd surpassed 400 yards in his career. Two of his four touchdowns went for 50 or more yards. He had eight completions of 20 or more yards. He also ran for a short touchdown and scrambled 12 yards on third-and-11 for a game-sealing first down with about two minutes left.Afterward, Bucs coach Dirk Koetter gloated that "Fitzmagic" is "alive and well." Receiver Mike Evans, who caught seven passes for 147 yards, said he hoped some fantasy football players had Fitzpatrick in their lineup.Suddenly, the Buccaneers are brimming with confidence and optimism that would not have been expected for a team that won five games in 2017 and entered Sunday as more than a touchdown underdog."It's fun to be out there thinking you're going to score on every possession," Fitzpatrick said. "This is a different year. This is a different team."There have been four seasons since 2012 during which a quarterback going against the Saints was a recipe for a fantasy football bonanza. If that's the case again, New Orleans, which came within a play of advancing to last season's NFC title game, will struggle to realize the promise with which the current campaign began. Here are some of the prominent story lines coming out of the Bucs' upset of the Saints:SEASONED QBsConsider the convergence of these two occurrences: 88 combined points broke a record for an NFL regular season opener that had stood since 1947 (Eagles 45, Redskins 42) and both starting quarterbacks were 35 or older.Brees is 39 and the two QBs' combined years of NFL experience was 30 coming in.Like fine wine? While Fitzpatrick had a career day Womens Customized Baltimore Ravens Jerseys , Brees was near vintage, finishing with 439 yards and three TDs without an interception."Playing quarterback in this league is tough and it is a week-to-week proposition, with the highs and lows," Fitzpatrick said. "But that experience factor does go a long way out there."COSTLY WINTampa Bay's schedule doesn't get any easier. The Bucs host defending champion Philadelphia on Sunday. So they'll be hoping receiver DeSean Jackson recovers quickly from the concussion-like symptoms that knocked him out of the game against New Orleans in the fourth quarter. They'd also like to see cornerback Vernon Hargraves return quickly from a shoulder injury 鈥?never mind the fact cornerback Brent Grimes didn't play because of a sore groin.Jackson caught five passes for 146 yards, including touchdowns of 58 and 36 yards. His injury came as he was tackled along the sideline after a 35-yard catch.Hargreaves forced Saints running back Mike Gillislee's fumble, which safety Justin Evans returned for a 34-yard TD.YOUTH MOVEMENTSigns continue to point up for young Saints' offensive stars Alvin Kamara and Michael Thomas.Kamara picked up right where he left off last season, gashing opposing defenses as a receiver while finding ways into the end zone from the red zone as a runner. Kamara caught nine passes for 112 yards and a TD and also rushed for two TDs and a 2-point conversion.Thomas caught a Saints franchise single-game record 16 passes for 180 yards and a touchdown. But his performance was marred by a fumble across midfield that stalled a promising drive in the third quarter.EVANS' EMINENCEEvans left the Superdome with no small measure of vindication. During his visit to the Superdome last season, he was so seemingly frustrated by Marshon Lattimore's blanket coverage that he decked Lattimore after the whistle, drawing a one-game suspension. His lasting memory from his most recent visit will be gliding into the end zone to complete a 50-yard touchdown reception while Lattimore sat on the ground after losing his footing."I like my odds again anybody 鈥?not just him," Evans said.
